• Create a shared understanding of sustainability and Education for Sustainability (EfS)
• Increase awareness, knowledge, and understanding of Education for Sustainability
• Design units and programs to educate schools and communities to learn together for a sustainable future
• Integrate EfS concepts into existing and new curriculum and program materials to enhance the effectiveness of our current organizations to Educate for Sustainability
• Reflect on how to develop our sites and learn together to connect our work across sites
• Learn from each other by sharing our site-based experience across sites
Second Year New Jersey Learns participants are encouraged to attend our annual week-long Advanced Summer Institute: Curriculum Design Studio in New York City. You can also contribute and share EfS curriculum online in our Curriculum Design Studio & Gallery
