Putnam/Northern Westchester County BOCES

The Cloud Institute is engaged with the Putnam/Northern Westchester county BOCES Curriculum Center in a comprehensive curriculum project. The goal of the multi-year project is to develop a multidisciplinary web-based curriculum that combines engaging and relevant content with the highest quality pedagogy. The curriculum addresses the question, “How are we all going to live well and within the means of nature?” and challenges students to think about issues that affect their future—all within the context of their existing curricula in math, English language arts, science, social studies and the arts.

The program is being implemented and, over the next few years, will be expanded and become a K-12 curriculum that will raise awareness and provide meaningful and relevant experiences for students and teachers alike.
